ABOUT SHADOW ROAD

 

Shadow Road Productions prides itself on offering its audiences a wide and varied diet of cheer and chills, intrigue and amazement, enjoyment and, above all, entertainment.  As well as tackling the quirky and offbeat, bringing lesser known and often unexpected works to the stage in new and exciting ways, we also enjoy staging productions in aid of our chosen charities. 

We kicked off in 2007 with a double-bill of one-act comedies but our output since then has included a double-bill of thrillers - classic radio plays that were inventively adapted for the stage - and three new shows of our own devising: A Countdown to Christmas, The Road to Remembrance and Warriors: Remembering the Brave.  We also staged Oswald's Return, an original play written by new playwright Guy van der Westhuizen, which we hope will be only the first of many pieces of great new writing that we can bring to life. 

We have plans for many more plays and productions up our sleeves and, in addition to these, we will also be launching a programme of Murder Mystery Dinners in the autumn.  If you are interested in getting involved with Shadow Road Productions in some way or you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
